all contracts renewed except gemini

facts:
1. AZ fiscal year ended 12/31.
2. csa and merck contracts negotiated and renewed by end of the year.
3. AZ successfully campaigned to get rid of the ocean team because they shared creator.
4. dutoprol was yanked so gemini has only 1 drug--- Vimovo
5. 500 gemini reps only have average of 80 targets (- avg of 5 dead, moved, retired)
6. csa reps no longer carry vimovo so az only wants it in front of 40,000 docs nationwide?
7. AZ reps used to carry vimovo so they've already been trained.
8. nationally, combining performing well-. some districts doing ok but not well enough to make bonus.
9. new CEO needs to come in and find some profits and seems big on revamping az culture.

speculation:
1. is Pascal going to continue to pay a contract sales force to run with one drug? OR
2. is Pascal going to save some coin, cut us and stick it back in AZ reps bag for free?

if he keeps the contract sales force then AZ reps better worry about the direction their new CEO is about to take them!

safe bet is that gemini is history because they will want to save $ and the az reps won't want the contract reps in their accounts!

I received an email stating that I would be locked out of AZ server on February 9. I'm on the worthless Gemini contract selling the worthless product vimovo. I'm assuming that this means the contract is over February 9. Nothing from my worthless manager yet, but that is no surprise to me.

Every year, as an independent contractor, you need to renew the access to the AZ site. I got the same notice as I did last year. Just call the help desk to take care of it. Your manager has to do some work on his/her end, so don't wait til the last minute. My manager also says it still looks good for Gemini, but really, I will believe it when I see it. I am uncomfortable with what they have done with the CSA's as it seems there are no CSA's supporting my territories. Vimovo is a tough sell...all the AZ reps who had it before me tell me they struggled too...too many push backs from the pharmacies when they finally do write it.

Yawn! This is all information that has been obtained months ago. You contradict your thread title with #3. Ocean did not get renewed. AZ reps did not carry Vimovo, csa's launched Vimovo then by Gemini. Ocean team did not get renewed because az had 5 reps going in same offices with Crestor. Go fake calls on your dead & retired docs & come back and post when you have some new sh#t

Az reps launched vimovo.
You think csas did? What, with their phenomenal clinical sales skills via an app!?
*eye roll*

I don’t just THINK SO it’s the unfortunately truth. AZ made the stupid decision to cut costs and have csa’s launch the product when they are prohibited from discussing clinical. They left PI’s and any clinical discussions were done via V connect. That’s why it was a disastrous launch. I’m sure if the AZ sales team who are so highly intellectual would have launched it, it would be one of the top 5 prescribed meds. You wish! It’s a crap med regardless of who launched it. Before you start rolling your eyes and get your panties in a bunch do your research first!

Umm...I'm with AZ... And yes we launched vimovo...cns called on the orthos and rheum and primary care called on the family practice docs....managed care is the reason it is such a difficult sell...

You should take your own advice and research first yourself. I am very surprised you even lasted this long on Gemini. How do you manage to promote a product without even knowing the launch history???
It is obvious your networking skills are pathetic.

AZ pss or CSA does it really matter who launched it? The important thing is that you did a s#itty job then dumped it on us!

We may not have to worry about it for long. On AZ board under vimovo thread they are hearing that they are getting it back.

So are we getting something else or are we going to be our of jobs next month?
