Albert at Davos

It is a complete PR exercise. He loves the media exposure and justifies this by saying he can hobnob with politicians and global elite - very necessary for reputation and easing the path for favorable govt policies etc. This is the BS corporate affairs spin I'm guessing. Couple of years ago launched a program to give poor countries access to cheap Pfizer medicines at Davos (Accord program). Generated a few press releases and puff pieces in the media but since then not much concrete info on how many doses Pfizer gave to patients in which poor countries and whether this program has made any meaningful difference in these poor countries (same quality of execution as other initiatives at Pfizer under AB).

Yep, absolute globalist. PFE and all other pharma soak the US healthcare patient and government payer to give more favorable pricing in most of the ROW. The system is built that way and the politicians allow it.

Much of what emanates from NYC is strictly for the almighty PR. Trust me, they paid a favorite PR company seven figures in our ever-loving quest for clicks and market impressions. As if market impressions accurately measure the public's perception of us.
