Alabama to the NC

Fuck 'em.

There are many other teams with only 1 loss. Why aren't they going to the NC instead?

Is the SEC the holy grail of college football? heh. BS.

If the SEC went toe to toe with the PAC 12 - pound for pound - the PAC 12 would pulverize them. It would be like the Battle of Chattanooga - 1865.

SEC SEC SEC!!!!!!!!!!!

ALABAMA is a true DYNASTY. 3 National Championship appearances in 4 years is remarkable. I am sure if BAMA beats ND in the NC all we will hear is about how hard the academic standards are at ND compared to BAMA. Blah blah blah, butt hurt, butt hurt and more butt hurt...

You know you're crazy, right?

Like a fox I am.

You people have been conditioned to believe that NCAA football starts and ends with the SEC. If I were raised in a whorehouse I would think that women doing the nasty with all sorts of strange men was normal.

You don't think objectively or with a clear mind.

If you did you would realize that the SEC is really nothing special. Mostly hype.

Oregon is 11-1 and lost only one fucking game to the #13 team (Stanford) in OT by 3 lousy points. Every other team played was absolutely disseminated with Oregon scoring an average of 55 points a game. Yet rarely do you hear the Ducks mentioned on ESPN or in mainstream sports media as a major BCS player. Why?? Because the media is corrupted and has been instructed to focus on certain conferences and teams.

If you think about my claim it will become more and more credible.

But naturally since you live south of the Mason-Dixon Line you'll immediately dismiss it as "kooky". :)

If it was 2014 BAMA #2 would be playing Oregon #3 in a Semi Final and Notre Dame #1 would be playing Florida #4. Just one more year and deserving teams like Oregon and Florida will get a fair shot at the NC. For Oregon to have a chance to play in the NC this year they really needed to win the PAC-12. If Oregon finished the season 12-1 instead of 11-1 it would have made a huge difference.

I don't think it is "kooky," for you to express your displeasure of Oregon getting knocked out the NC. I just think instead of blaming the media you need to just accept the fact that Oregon should have beaten Stanford for a shot at the NC this year.

Bullshit, Bama.

I have listened to the mainstream media talk up Florida and even loser Georgia for BCS bowl game positions and how they are so deserving - but not any of those bastards mention Oregon in their discussions when Oregon lost one f...ing game in OT by 3 points to what is now the #6 team in the nation.

At least the USA Today poll put Oregon in 3rd position ahead of Florida, so maybe there's some hope yet.

The mainstream sports media is very dishonest and gamed when it comes to playing favorites.

I just pray that Oregon plays a SEC team in the BCS bowl games this year to put their strength on exhibit. They really got screwed this year. Oregon is every bit as good as Alabama and Notre Dame. I think even better.

Btw, looking over the non-BCS bowl games I am disappointed. I don't like the matchups overall. They are pitting Boise against University of Washington in the Vegas Bowl. I think Boise should play a little better quality team than Washington. Just my opinion.

You obviously did not see Friday's headline in the USA Today paper.

It starts w/ "Fact:" and ends w/ 'SEC'.

I read all of this stuff - And I always come back to one thought ---> How can you not love this "Fucktard gal"?

~a voice from the past

Awwww, how sweet. I just call it like I see it. He's either crazy or....

1. Delusional

2. An alcoholic

3. A crackhead

4. Suffering from PTSD -- probably from middle east military action

5. PTSD from being molested by his nanny with a southern accent

Anyone who thinks the SEC would be pulverized as a conference by the PAC 12 is nuts. I'm not saying every SEC team would win, but the SEC certainly wouldn't be pulverized.

Hell, anyone who states that Oregon would score 100 points against the Gators is batshit crazy.

Here's the way it would go down....

You would have Alabama playing LSU in one bracket and Florida playing Georgia in the other semi. and if one of those 4 teams would declare themselves ineligible....then South Carolina would be jettisoned in.

Notre Dame? Fuck ND. Other than Lou Holtz, the entire ESPN programming network would approve my rotation.

Brilliant idea.

By the way, did you know that Lou Holtz was good friends w/ Jesse Helms?

Shit, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. Lou just got an upgrade on my respect meter. I didn't agree with Jesse on everything. But I never ever had to guess about what the man stood for. And he always was true to his beliefs. I don't ever remembering him waffling or flip flopping even if it got him in deep shit. He was an open book. You just can't ask for much more than that from a man in this old world of ours.
