AIT- competitor? Based out of Indy

Well, I was told, they are much better sales people, much classier organization and Ameritox is leader b/c of the time in biz. Much easier to make 100K, smaller territories, a dream! What have you heard? Thanks for website link.

How is management, how large are territories, they are making me jump through hoops for iv but seem very laid back. Gave me zero info on salary bonus. And I just got "generous" car allowance. I wish they would give me more info. Training? In Indy how long, etc.

This is all second hand information, so take it with a grain of salt. First, I've heard good and bad about their management. Everyone says they are stacked with a bunch of young people, but thats not always a bad thing. I know my contact says shes does pretty good, take home pay. I know their customers love them, for the most part, and all of the competitive information we have about them makes them out to be a really tough cookie to break. Just ask good questions when you go in to interview. Im sure they will answer almost anything.

Great leadership......not pharma.......true sales.......best science in the industry.........and hard work yields unlimited earning potential. Yes, it is a big leap from big base & small bonus, but well worth it. Small company that has been growing rapidly for the last few years. A family environment that is really fulfilling for me....don't know that they are expanding right now, though.

Sounds awesome. How's the leadership? Honest? Ethical?

Unlike pharma, it is about building a business with you colleagues. This company is an ESOP and we are all in it together. Compensation is competitive when you look at the total package. Training is but a week of formal classwork and networking. Given the staus of big pharma this may be the best place to be in healthcare for the next few years. Trust me-20 year veteran. no knuckleheads need apply.

AIT starting salary is around 60,000. Comm. somewhere around 3% for first year. car allowance is around 200.00. Leadership is very young and inexperienced. Great lab but have no idea how to treat the sales force. Territories are farily large, so alot of travel involved and alot of meetings.

Hope this helps.

I don't work for AIT or Ameritox but know management and reps from both labs. go for AIT they have class and actually care about their employees. Ameritox could care less about their employees and hire the worst management in the industry. I work for the competitor

AIT does NOT treat the employees fair! No mileage reimbursement, $300 month car allowance (after tax), monthly commission cut in half - benefits suck. Constant "fire drills" and busy admin work, inexperienced management - complete joke. So disappointing ....Can't wait to get the hell out!

there was a time when i would have agreed with you but there has been so much change with this company since the date of your post we were told of expense budget not to exceed 1000 a month as well as a decrease in auto allowance and the elimination of the measly mileage reimbursement that we had of .10/mile at least at ameritox you would get a decent base salary commission and automobile allowance plus you are not held back as it pertains to some of the industry billing practices like you are at ait i actually feel bad for doc because i feel like their are 2 gentlemen eo and jc who have made this company their personal little toy and dont seem to care about giving us the tools to succeed anymore after the overhired for territories that cant support multiple reps i would say that maybe a quarter to one third of the territories can support themselves meaning that the rep or reps do enough business to support their own salary commission and benefits there idea to grow the business was to just hire until it backfires well it happened and the only people that are suffering as the existing and new sales reps that have just had the cord tightened around our necks and they are in the positions where they dont have any consequences for their actions they are just going to keep hiring and see if that works it doesnt hurt their salary at all they will just point to anyone and everyone under them and decide the problem must be there i wish doc knew what was happening and how it impacted the sales reps who fight all day long because we respect him as a person and what he stands for unfortunately there is a lot of anger towards management and upper management because of the lack of respect and poor decisions that these two upper managers have for the people that hit the streets everyday in an effort that is now out of desperation rather than wanting to because you enjoy it now we cant afford it 500 a month for a car that is travelling over 1000 miles a month sometimes over 1500 with no mileage reimbursement doesnt cover most peoples gas let alone oil change insurance and tires this company fell apart in terms of employee happiness darn near overnight and only made 65 millionish when the goal was 90 million in 2010 talk about failure eo and jc saw the writing on the wall in may/june 2010 and didnt make any adjustments to the business plan when they began to realize that 90 million was going to be a pipe dream let alone to increase revenue of 60 millionish from 2009 well their plan netted the company 65millionish which with all the hiring that took place and spending i cant imagine that the company actually netted any revenue i wish i could say that i was a disgruntled account executive that cant sell but the sentiment in the corporate office isnt well either with client services billing marketing you name it

Ummm, I think your post has some good points and I don't disagree much. But please use punctuation, your post is pretty hard to read.
