Hahahahhahaahahhhaaa. What a crock of shit! that's AIT's way of taking away the old cup because it costs to much and not really having anything to do with accuracy. besides, We always talk about the cup and how physicians shouldn't be relying on it to begin with. AIT has always said not to make decisions based on the cup because of its limitations. Now we are sending a mixed messaeg... Sounds like managment decided to make up some lie to try and sell it to the sales reps.
 






Yes, the 'new' cups are essentially the exact same testing strips, but the cup doesn't include the full panel any longer, just 6 tests...don't let them fool you, it's the exact same tests!

they now promote 6 instead of 12 because it helps increase the amount and percentage of the LAB'S reimbursement to only test for 6.
