Airwatch

airwatch provides a bread crumb trail to the point of when u wake up and go to bed. the only way to prevent them from tracking is not use the phone and purchase your own personal phone. this is taken from website:

Device check-out/check-in: tracking who uses which device as well as the physical status of the device at the start of a shift and then again at the end of a shift

Tracking of associated device assets, including service plan and associated physical equipment (i.e., cradles, etc.)

Tracking of applications loaded on the device (excluding content)

Real-time GPS location tracking and mapping, including analysis of location data and history. Provides a robust bread-crumb trail of activity.

Mobile device remote control, including screen capture.

The portions of the AirWatch software that allow smartphones and mobile devices to be monitored by the AirWatch Console run in the background of the devices.

what does the agreement say? I don't have a copy. this sounds like a major invasion of privacy... so I guess they know where I go on weekends too. the Apple guy at store said its incredibly easy for companies to track employees. not cool.

1. Get own phone
2. Get instructions from IT on setting up email
3. Give customers personal cell number
4. Turn off company phone. The marketing apps and sales info do not need an Internet connection except for when it receives updates from company. Other than that keep it off.

Problem solved 100 percent.

If you do your job everyday and do what your paid to do then you have nothing to worry about. Its simple really.

Click on the airwatch app and you can go to any date and see exactly where you were at any point in a given day. As long as they pay for your phone they can do whatever they want. Sorry you cant take every afternoon off to shop, golf or get your nails done. Its called work for a reason.

Oh so sorry you have to work an honest day now.

Whatever, gramps. The reality is that we all work for The Man, if you can be successful and still make time for personal activities during the work week, go for it. Otherwise, get an office job and trade professional freedom for less accountability (and probably less money).
