When I resigned back a few years ago the asshole who called to collect the car tried to intimidate me about picking it up and told him " hey asshole, I don't work there anymore , you'll pick up the car when it is convenient for me." and then the light dawned on him that I was correct and he became much nicer.

The third party company calls you within 24 hours of your separation. They are somewhat flexible but the expectation is to have it picked up within a week. The gas card is turned off about 5 minutes after the separation call.

Recently left Novo but didn’t have new Company car yet. I was able to put them off for almost a full month due to “Being out of town”.
But previous person is correct, gas card was shut off immediately. So keep the car filled up at all times.

yeah, they try to muscle you into meeting their schedule.

However long you have it, be mindful that they will charge you for everything mile you drive. I'm not sure about insurance coverage either. This is a question for AskHR.

BS. They can’t charge you a penny. Do things on your schedule not theirs. Remember at this point you have been fired and owe them nothing. They will try an intimidate you but stand your ground and tell them your out of town. Stretch it out best you can.
