How does this product line (total shoulder, fracture shoulder, resurfacing head, reverse shoulder) stand up to the competition in terms of quality and technology? Does it speak for itself once in a surgeons hands? Any surgeon objections?

Clinical results. They have to back bone graft behind their baseplate to avoid notching, it's well published that bone grafts resorb fairly quickly in the glenoid. It's a dated system, but I believe they're working on a new one.

Tornier's Rev two system is out with the most glenoid options on the market. Torniers rev design is based on the same surgeon's design (Gramont) as Depuy's system. They have the most clinical history. The future of the reversed shoulder is in glenoid design and the ability to match each patients anatomy. We will see who has the best glenoid system with time.

By new reverse do you mean the Fx Reverse. Looks like the same baseplate, and the standard reverse is the same. It was modeled after the older DePuy Delta 3, which has poor clinical results. But at least tDePuy's original.
