Advice on quitting

Depends, I worked my notice out. If they don't want you around-poof!
My new employer was such a move up-they had a rental car delivered Saturday morning after dropping the cook car off on Friday afternoon.
New employer changes cars at 60,000 miles too.
I enjoyed most of my time at Cook, but really liked the move i made.

Which SBU did you work at, and where did you go? More importantly......are they still hiring???

I left Cook with the intentions of giving them one day notice. RUN!!! They are going to pull a bunch of sneaking moves, trying to get you to sign paperwork after you leave, changing your position, and they will still keep sending Fed-ex grap to your house and Fed-ex wants you to pay it. See the problem with Cook is if you work there for more than 3 years, NO ONE wants you. They think your lazy, which is 100% true and accurate. Most reps across the US are only working 2-3 days per week, and Cook is well aware of this. There was a girl who worked about 4-5 days per month and it took them 2 years to fire to her. They will want everything back the day you resign, so be ready. If you have been there for 5+ years and someone offers you a mop job... take it!

I am the OP. I provided my two week notice and they did not check me out until the end. I think the best reply was: it depends on the rep and the reason. I was leaving on good terms.

Wow,4-5 days a month and was still around for 2 years? Not possible unless she was hitting her number, at which point who cares how many days a week she worked.
But, I'll bite. What state was she in?

i just got an offer and was blown away by the noncompete!! Realistically, how do they enforce a 2 year post employment noncompete? Do they typically aggressively go after ex employees?
