Adding Value

phantom pharma gal here.

My coach want to have a conference call to talk about how we can add value so our providers will want to engage in interactions with us.

I'm wondering what kind of ideas you guys have.

She suggested utilizing data around efficacy of Januvia

I thought bring in some Starbucks.

Thankfully primary care reps have so many approved clinical reprints that have been recently published to share cutting edge data with our customers.

Regarding bringing "value". This is the only job I have ever had where if I take the day off, get sick, whatever...no one notices. Think about it, you don't show up and no one cares. Except the obese receptionist that was looking for the free lunch.

Ha Ha!! This is so true...I always said the same thing when I was a rep...It always amazed me that any company would pay anyone 100K a year for delivering deli meats & cheeses?

The only reason they are able to do it, is because the industry is so corrupt and basically has a license to fleece the public, the government and payors...

Any normal industry would be bankrupt with a year or two if they operated like pharma...

As I have said before, a Merck CTL making 175 a year total comp, is the best paid employee in America...
