Acthar Rare Diseases retention bonus

I don't even think a retention bonus is part of the plan. I thought the deal was if you decided to leave the company, you got a buy out offer and you left. You get nothing to stay here. I could be wrong though.

ARD is a house of cards waiting for someone to sneeze on it so we could all get stacked back into the deck just to be reshuffled out to the next player pimp. Kick back & relax till Sept rolls around

Mallinckrodt leadership is toxic. Do not expect anything good out of this crew. Retention bonus? Take your stock and get out as fast as you can. That's what I'm doing.

Managers want a retention bonus to try and keep their talented folks from jumping ship on Sept. 15th. MNK leadership is poo-pooing the idea....they have just dismantled the HSS sales force and going to rebuild and think they can do the same with ARD. I doubt they will pay anyone to stay....not their MO.

Even if you are one of the lucky ones who received a retention bonus, keep in mind that with the wording as it is in the document, you can stay and they can come right up until time to pay out and find any reason even a very minor thing to get out of paying. If you decide on staying with the retention bonus, I would probably know that at some point you will need attorney to make them pay up. In other words, it's a worthless piece of paper.

That is spot on. You should go into it realizing it is a 50:50 proposition whether you will actually get the money from them. At best. Remember that these people don't care about you and consider you an expense, not someone that creates revenue for them.

High, really high level of arrogance with high level managers here. Leads to stupid mistakes. Having read back thru the threads leads me to think they are not trained or have no sales experience. Hard to fathom but thats my take.

Driving shareholder value and we are not part of it. It's all smoke and mirrors at this point they haven't been able to dazzle them with brilliance so it's time to baffle the investors with bullshit. Seems like they're overachieving on that end.

ARD is here to stay. We have the only viable option for these patients and the cost justifies the value. As a matter of fact, it's actually under priced so a price increase would be smart.
