First Ackman illegally did insider trading by buying the call options for stock on Allergan while secretly plotting with Valeant to make a public bid for the company and of course raise its stock price, and share the proceeds, while also trying to help Valeant buyout the company. Any idiot knows this is insider trading pure and simple. Ackman was fooled by his lawyer, supposedly, who he claims says it is ok to do insider trading based on inside information. Either his lawyer is an incompetent idiot, or his lawyer knows it is illegal, and after the idiot Ackyman does the illegal thing, then the lawyer knows he will be called to try to defend the idiot. Clever lawyer, you just suckered in Ackman for the big legal fee kill.
Second, Ackyman also did illegal stock manipulation related to his ridiculous 300 page presentation nonsense trying to manipulate the price of herbalife. How about those investors of herbalife who lost any money then get your lawyer and get a class action lawsuit going against old Acky?
