Acclarent Openings - Looking for acurate feedback on the opp & market

I'm interviewing for one of the sales positions in Southern CA and would like to get feedback on Acclarent and the opportunity today.

Products - how they stack up competitively?

Company - culture, management, opportunities?

Management - specifically in the West?

Comp - insight on ranges for a seasoned rep would be great.

Not looking for disgruntled employees (every company has that board - including my current) but I hoping to get a sense of the opportunity at Acclarent today.

You'll do great at Acclarent because, like Acclarent management, you think all negative comments are because unhappy employees do not have valid points and are disgruntled. Ask yourself why employees are disgruntled. Where there's smoke, there's fire. A Company that has under 200 reps and 24 pages on CF, is telling, if you can read between the lines.

Products
You are selling a product for an elective procedure and the expectation is to tell patients, who can't pay their bills, let alone meet their deductible to just put the surgery 'on their credit cards.'

The direct manager is a puppet but his manager is the Spawn of Satin and makes the managers put one person from each region 'On Plan' each quarter.

Thanks for the feedback today. Very valid point that there are 24 pages on here - 98% negative. Seems toxic to say the least.

Also very good to know about the management style... Spawn of Satin sounds like a terd and is very similar to the new management that is coming into my company - ALL from Cardinal Healthcare. They know nothing about the business but demand 3 people per region are scored low (no matter what) and at least one gets put on a plan. Absurd.

I'll pass on grass on this one.

How many openings are there in Southern CA anyway? They're always tight lipped when someone moves on to better opportunities.
 






I don't know exactly but the recruiter I've been working with said there are multiple openings.

I live in Santa Monica and OC to Santa Barbara out to the IE didn't seem to be an issue. I don't want to travel much more than that as I have two little ones at home.

Not looking for disgruntled employees huh? Have you read this shit? All it is is negative. The company salesforce is malignant. Believe what you read. just being honest. good luck.
