Acclarent being sold off

Any truth to the rumors that Acclarent is being sold to Integra? TruDi ENT

In my experience conversations are always taking place. Many times they don't result in acquisition though. Deals often fall apart in the 11th hour due to some impasse in terms.

It would not surprise me in the slightest to hear that all of CSS ( Excluding BWI) is up for sale.

Cerenovus is absolutely for sale, they just can't find a big enough sucker to pull the trigger

We can’t sell Mentor despite trying for 10 years. MedTech is in need of M&A but must unload the dead weight like ACC and CNV.

Mentor definitely doesn't fit and neither did Acclarent. CNV fits in the medtech portfolio, but JnJ needs to get serious if they want to keep up in that space. They are getting beat to the market by everyone. An acquisition is in order to keep up.

Anyone seen the 2024 sales car selector list yet?
To answer both of these questions.
1. Mike Mahoney was the Chairman of MD&D in December 2009 when Acclarent was purchased. Bill Weldon was the CEO at the time. Bill has since retired & Mike left J&J to become the CEO of Boston Scientific. They cannot be held accountable for their mistakes.

2. The JNJ Uber app on your smartphone is your car.

Gary was the prime driver on this. It was doomed from the begining along with mentor. The sector has a track record of absurd m&a deals. Auris remains a clown car and the huge miss was Synthes.

What about the Monarch platform? Wasn't that supposed to be the next big thing with lung cancer? Use the same platform to take biopsies and deliver drugs...
