Academy Award time coming up

So my woman loves movies and every year at this time we make it a point to see as many of the Top 10 contenders as possible before the awards. For the rest of the year, it's pretty much porn. Anyway, here's the Top 10 c0ontenders for this year with comments on the 2 we've seen so far. Please join in?

1. La La Land

2. Manchester by the Sea

3. Moonlight

4. Jackie

5. Fences

6. Silence

7. Lion

8. Arrival
- I gave it a 3 (barely) she gave it a 4. Time worn theme of alien landing, we almost attack but someone figures out their language and the earth is saved, duhhh !
9. Sully
- Much better, moved fast, hmmm, 3.8 or 3.9? Not too deep but never got bored.

10. Loving
 




Sorry Vag. Hollywood is dead to me. Especially with no talents like George Clooney (did you hear that Anal is divorcing him?), Lena Dungam and the rest.

Me too mostly but I have a woman who loves movies and sometimes we get naughty in the back row. This is one of my concessions and sometimes I even see a movie I like. We probably see one movie all year and then 'bingo'. Didn't hear about Clooney divorce, didn't find her attractive anyway. I did like that movie he did last year about the Nazi Art thefts which had his father in it at the end. Otherwise - meh!

So you never take/took your wife to a movie?

Oh yeah! She gets too loud when we do that though.
