Thoughts on Absorb? Abbott says disruptive technology that will dominate the competition. Competitors say it will take too long, be too expensive, and their products by then will have no polymer, which will make their performance even better. They also say Absorb is causing a lot of inflamation.

Interested in hearing your opinions.

Really!? a BSX or MDT selling negatively vs a product they can only dream about?

LOL. data is pretty decent early but nothing definitive yet. If the data holds up? will be a Cypher like game changer due to patient demand and MD fear of litigation if he/she does not use it.

BSX sales will suffer greatly when this is launched. They compete in large part now with same stent due to lower pricing and better/more tenured reps but when this launches?

You will be lucky if that stent is on the market by 2015...local reps are telling MD's it will be here by 2013...my local reps lie constantly....when resolute and promus element hits the market, it will be a two horse race...see ya....ION is kicking ass..just wait until element gets here...
