ABS reps: considering Otsuka or Lundbeck?

Have any of my fellow ABS friends have heard from a Otsuka or Lundbeck recruiter? I hear the salary is very attractive (over $100), and they are practically laying out the red carpet for Lilly and Janssen reps. Anyone entertaining the idea of interviewing? Why or why not?

I would leave if I were an ABS rep. RELPREVV is a bust.
 












I was approached by the Otsuka tablet rep and asked to apply. They get a 3K kicker if they recomend you and get hired.

I've heard alot of talk about salary range, like 70-120, but I think it's more like a 100 base, that from the Otsuka rep.

I did apply and passed their little screener. Should be having a phone interview ASAP I'm told. They are emphasizing importance on CMHC experience and buy and bill.

Yeah, ZR is tough, but for all the shit talked on this board I think company culture at Lilly in how we as reps are treated is very different, much better, than other companies.

I applied because I dont know what in the hell we're gonna do after Cymbalta, I'm sure FTE employees will be taken care of, realigned, but to what and where.

I don't want to leave Lilly, but a 40K raise would definetly get my attention.

Go ahead and apply. If you decide you don't want to be around anymore it's better for you and Lilly for you to go. If nothing else, you'll find out what you're worth and might feel better about Lilly.

Sad. Lilly was once known as the top company in the Institutions for NS. We hardly have a respectable footprint in the hospitals or CMHCS. Bad planning.
 






We have a footprint, just nothing to sell in a few years...err 16 months?

C'mon Wayne! Or Bob, or the other Bob! Give us a reason to stay! Make us tier 3 reps like has been talked about for so long. I know the upper muckitty mucks from Harvard say we have to prove ourselves.. I say put their sorry ass in the fusion with me for a week and let them see what it takes to get ONE shot, then tell me I don't have the tier 3 skill set and mind set.
 






ABS will be collapsing soon. Existing accounts will be managed by retail reps who will have little to do once Cymbalta goes generic.

We have no talent left in that division. All the best ABS reps walked away from the product or the Sr leader. Check the org chart- mostly FDEs. That's pure fact... Want to debate that???

Yeah, I would like to debate that. Evidently you folks that Don't work in abs or inside are the ones in the know. So, do you know or is this just your negative conjecture bullshit?
 






If mGlu hits, no way that division in its current state of FDEs and broken leadership
will launch the product successfully! They WILL need the tenure and talent of the current Psych sales force. Sad- all the great reps that were part of that ABS team are now in other divisions- Waste of a lot of good reps-

Do you really think that no one else can get the same relationship that you have? Most rep's overvalue the "relationship" they have- you definitely do.
