Costco gives great deals on prescriptions. But I never seem to escape without eating the sample cuisine and cheap mega pizza slices. Damn it Costco! I always spend more there than you plan on. True story!

Except for the fact that certain drugs don't appear to be as safe and effective in their generic forms. For example, if you get generic warfarin, due to the variability of even the branded product, you must be sure to get the same manufacturer's generic so you don't go out of the International Normalized Ratio (INR) which is the range at which the drug is safe and effective. Too high you bleed out, too low you stroke out. No joke. And I just found out from my child's doc that only one manufacturer's generic Concerta is any good - he was like it's only that one or brand. Apparently they don't work as well.
