So glad to see the stupid auto-replies from HR stopped. Guess that wasn’t such a good idea Abhay ? You really had someone from HR go on Cafepharma and type responses ? Is THAT your best contribution since becoming CEO here ?

Here’s the funny thing:
I left Sun and the number of resumes now coming into my company is crazy. Hiring managers are asking me for a thumbs up or a . I’m laughing bc I’m the one deciding if they get interviewed. And guess what ??
Sorry Abhay, you’re gonna be stuck with them a bit longer.

This place lacks accountability and its the product of the previous leadership team. Wanted to be friends with reps ,RSMs instead of leading through adversity. No structure, no accountability and no plan. Call it what you want but it's needed to be successful. A 2% share and no generic competition. Stop blaming other and sell to your market. If not please leave and tell everyone you interview with that its not your fault.

You’re the problem, you said it - rather than taking accountability as you profess, you’re blaming the previous leadership team. When do you take ownership a**wipe?

Things will never change. A revolving door of Reps across all divisions. The highest turnover rate in the Pharma industry. What is it close to 75% attrition. That’s the legacy Abhay and BU heads like Hagler will be known for.
Abhay will never leave Sun. He might but I’m sure if he does it’s going to be a company based in India.
Mark Hagler just became an untouchable. Yes in India that is the lowest caste.
No one in the industry will touch Mark with a ten foot pole. He made his mark (pardon my pun) at Sun and it shows his lack of Leadership.
Cequa for all its clinical advantage over Restasis won’t make a dent. I bet it will won’t surpass a 10% market share despite all the efforts put into it.

You’re probably right, it’ll never change. And under what guise could AG possibly return to India with the embarrassment of the performance in the US under his watch?
Turnover at Sun is almost incalculable and it’s has to be the highest in pharma (not that Sun is a real pharma company), it likely rivals that of a McDonalds. Really.
Sun has beyond bumbled a few product launches and can never recover. The people associated with Sun, and these launches, are screwed. At the one year mark you can say it wasn’t the company you thought it was when you interviewed. Legit. After that, you become the problem, not the solution. And it’s an indelible career stain.
 






Sun is so mismanaged nobody would ever buy it. Nobody will sell their legitimate company to Sun. make sure you move your 401k out before it equals zero. Don’t let these losers use your money for their investments and basically steal your money. Sun stock headed to <1 rupee. Merck is cutting ties with Sun which will devastate Sun’s future. End result DS is floating the company off of your money that will be worthless in < 2 years. No bail out for the company in the United States.
