Precisely.
Abhay is likely the fall guy for many big-wigs at Sun. So he takes the hit, satisfied their ‘SEC’ need to take someone to task (bc the insider trading was soooo obvious that the authorities had to take some kind of action). So that other Sun execs and their sons and daughters in India are not prosecuted.

That’ll mean he’ll take another less-public role somewhere.

Read the settlement...he pays 50 grand and his wife pays 50 grand...neither admits guilt. So if there is no guilt...there is no need to say a word to the field or resign. Funny that congresspeople have been doing insider info for over 100 years but laws are passed for everyone else.
 






This entire threads speaks to the fact that you are working for crooks. This is not just AG. Ongoing investigations continue into the entire organization. BTW this type of activity will likely cause the US to put Sun on an unapproved vendor list. Meaning no sales to federal institutions including CMS and VA. The fallout will cripple Sun in the states.

Agreed, yes we work for crooks, but this will not impact any business.
