need an attorney will take on pharma. i know 100 people in just my division that would be on board. not for money but to shut this down. we have lost site on the business. we are only focused on social issues.

Just because you're invited to CRT/DEEI meetings doesn't mean you have to attend. AbbVie is a corporation attempting to project an image of social responsibility; all they care about at the end of the day is money. Move on.

I don't think we've lost sight of the business. If we were truly woke then we would have filled our VP and higher leadership slots with diverse individuals, but as you hear from Rick every update, we are still "working on it". CRT and inclusivity has been optional from what I've seen. I think I was encouraged to attend one talk on understanding different backgrounds (income, race, gender, etc), and it wasn't in your face like I've seen from other companies.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending CRT. I came from Eli Lilly and every leadership update email felt like a CNN opinion piece, and you were highly encouraged to attend all diversity talks. AbbVie is not bad compared to what we could be dealing with.

They can preach all they want...just don't listen...See it is simple. Just shake your head yes, and move on...
I will allow all yes all abbvie men of color to spend a weekend shaming me, blaming me, and of course making me their "houseboy." Fill me with your wokeness boyzzz!!!!
