Abbott partnership

Diabetes division partnering with Abbott! When is the new sensor available? Will this turn around business. The reps will be rolling in the dough.
What a total humiliation for Medtronic. After pioneering sensor technology to have to throw in the towel and turn to your biggest competitor to save you. This is like Honda asking Toyota to make them engines they can use. I suppose now Que will feel free to fire the sensors team after a bit of public humiliation.

Lol. This is basically an admission of failure, but Que will fall softly, because she's a brown and a rainbow person. Oh, I'm not joking. Her wife was on the c-suite with her at Honeywell. Wonder who they asked to step down first? Her DIE categories are also why she can treat people like sh*t and have the worst engagement scores and still keep her job, too. #nepotism #alphabetprivilege

Que formed this that she did her best to do a sensor, but those idiots that work for her can't get it done so she made a Tough Decision to partner on the outside.

Brilliant.

She's Brilliant

Q couldnt turn it around. GM cant sell it cuz no one wants it. We had to go with our tail tucked to a competitor. Engineering the extraordinary....just brilliant. Another chaege to shut down anither program...

This is the beginning of MDT letting its intentions be known that it is looking to be bought up

The company “Medtronic” won’t exist in a year or two….falling in line like Guidant, St Jude, Teletronics, etc

He’s been trying to get bought this whole time, how else can the stock price and shit leadership be explained?

JnJ buying Medtronic would be Geoff's dream

yep and watch for the layoffs to follow. what leadership
Diabetes is the most arrogant MDT buisness, hands down. They have always felt like the rest of the company was beneath them in engineering, buisness vision, etc... and any problems were the result of heavy handed MDT management. if they could only be left alone.... Issues with the sensor have been known but discounted by the Northridge team for years. How many failed pump projects over the last 10 years? Now Que comes in and basically finishes off what was a floundering effort to get back into the game. This signals a huge pullback from being the one-stop-shop diabetes company to being a pump component suplier who relies on others to complete the set. This is huge, and a huge wake up call for the prima donnas in Northridge.

Yikes, Abbott just put MDT to the side. this article centered around how Abbott is taking over the market with their partnerships doesn't even bother to mention Medtronic..... With the delay to get a working system, and the arrogance in Northridge to work with anyone else, its a sure bet Insulet will continue to eat our lunch while the Minimed sensor technology fades into the bin of failed med tech.
