I would like to make a proposal.

Suppose we could try focusing on giving positive reasons for voting for our own favorite candidates rather than saying crap like: "your guy wants to kill grandma".

I suggest this knowing full well that I am as bad an offender as anyone else. But we all know the bad stuff about the other guy, so what purpose is served by repetition. So here...I'll start it:

Could some Obama supporter please tell me why they think Obama can fix the economy? I am especially concerned that he wants to continue stimulating (spending) when after three years of spending all we have is a worse situation than Obama inherited from GWB and a huge stack of unpaid bills.

So either nobody wants civil discussion or nobody knows the the answer. Let's try this: in view of the importance of the economy to success in the next election, would someone please tell me why I should vote for Mr. Obama?

Alas, you are right. Sadly, my portfolio is only up 40% so far this year. But then I'm not a hotshot professional investor like you.

2. I bitch because, Dems not only think that a three-year year wait is perfectly acceptable, they get almost orgasmic.

3. I bitch because General Obama pulls troops out of Afghanistan in the middle of a surge. As a Viet Nam vet I feel betrayed. You, of all people, should understand that.

4. I bitch because OBlahblah is playing Americans for suckers.

5. I bitch because pipsqueaks like BN can say that Christie can't be elected because he's fat, and none of you so-called self-esteem loving liberals call him/her on it.

6. I bitch because when Perry says that the national debt is a "black cloud hanging over Americans", people like Chris Matthews, OBlahblah's media mouthpiece, immediately calls Perry a racist and gets away with it.

I bitch because Perry was AWOL when BU$H and the Judeo republicans ran up the debt.

I bitch because we are not out of Afghanistan yet. We can be there another 50 years and nothing will change.

I bitch because in Obama's first 2 1/2 years in office he first had to clean up an elephant size mess left by the Judeo repubs.

We agree on Afghanistan. I just wish he would have pulled all of them out at once. A partial withdrawl increases the risk for those not withdrawn.

I don't think Perry was AWOL. He was busy governing Texas Texas (cleaning up the mess from Kaye Bailey Hutchinson) and importing (stealing?) jobs from California.

Dude, trying to respect our truce and maybe Christie's qualified, maybe he's not. But after the past almost 3 years, one thing has become painfully obvious. The current occupant of the white house is definitely NOT qualified.
