Hey, thanks, Astellas Entertainment, for sending me the "save the date" video link! Here's the problem: it was a "save the date" for a manager's meeting, and I'm not a manager! But I did get the opportunity to see a flashy video of RB and MG smiling for the camera, among other cute little cameos. I guess I don't work in the Astellas Entertainment division, but to my eyes it looked like it might have taken a good amount of time and money to produce. Does anyone in this company realize that if upper management coordinates a manager's meeting, presumably all the managers HAVE to attend? No need to send a "save the date" video at all, much less such a flashy and complex one. The sales reps in the field are always told that we need to operate cost effectively and that cuts are necessary in this environment. Money to attend valuable society conferences has been slashed, among numerous other financial reductions. And now Astellas uses their resources to produce a fancy, although completely unnecessary video to "invite" the managers to a mandatory meeting? AWESOME! Am I really going out into the field day in and day out trying to sell a crapload of Myrbetriq to fund this kind of bull$#&??? SHOOT ME NOW

Couldn't have said it better.... only I would not say the video had "cute cameos". It was an embarrassment to upper management and Astellas. I cringed as I saw those poor saps.

OMG! It's the IRS! COOL AIDE! WHAT IN THE MOTHER HELL WAS THAT? There you go our marketing clueless department making all of us laugh literally out loud at the BOBBLE HEADS! Mandatory great point. What happened to Evites? They are really out of touch! And the uppers think we're a waste of space and replaceable. Just saw my new office space...get me in there and get the tools out! No promotions, no decent raises, no positive motivation...seriously could we have more incompetent managers, regionals and Nation Business Directors? Are all pharma companies filled with this many out of touch morons?

Damn - I need help fast. Accidentally posted an 800 dollar strip club bill (VIP room at the Gold Club) on the corporate card. I have diligently used written lunch receipts in the past and paid cash when entertaining MD's after hours. Got a call from finance = told them it was a fraudulent charge. Then went to the Club to offer cash so they could cancel the charge. Seems that Astellas has already sent the fraud police chasing after the Gold Club. I can't lose my job this is too important for my family. Help ! Ideas please !!!

It really is getting harder and harder to not feel embarassed about what we are all a part of. Trying to tell your friends and family with a straight face about your job is pathetic. The whole crew of "in house" fuckin morons should really be ashamed of themselves. Maybe they will all go back to J&J or Pfizer one day but I doubt it!!! They wouldn't take washed up has been's!!

Don't forget Abbott, Baxter, and Takeda rejects.

Complete Mystery -- how our HR brings in actual rejects (people FIRED/Laid-off from previous pharma organizations) so they can work here.
