They’re prorated at the time of severance.

This is a better deal than the Roche plan. I heard they give 9 days severance per year and only pay a percentage of outstanding vacation.

Truly? You seem like you should- or do work for the media with that type of sensationalism. So what? A layoff like any other pharma. Everyone survives, based on payouts etc...not like other industries and blue collar workers who get thrown out with nothing or very little. Please grow up and stop this stupid rant (in caps as well) and focus rather on moving forward with gratitude for what you have.
