This whole place is a sh!t show.
The launch has been a lesson in ‘how not to’, the HUB is having organ failure and we’ll need to perform a transplant on McKesson.

This whole organization stinks, from the very top and it’s rotting in our hands. I’m disgusted that I left a decent position/company to come to Sun. That’s my bad that I’m living with, but not much longer.

Dilip must be sh*ting about both the money going out the door as well as the lost opportunities.
 




Oddly it doesn’t take a lot of sales to cover for the nut of the US. HQ has been fairly lean but has become a bit chubby lately. Overall sales pay for itself. This is about building a bigger player. If you stop and examine it half way through it wouldn’t look very good. It never does. This will be built, it will be successful, just not in the way you all are accustomed to viewing it. Dilip is far brighter than you are giving him credit for.

I hear ya, but it’s a little different here in this case.
Sun has a few wildcard issues that severely impact its ability to succeed. Products are mediocre, no one would give it more credit than that. It’s also trying to compete across TAs simultaneously, with exec leadership having no US experience.

Perhaps senior to those (and other) issues is that Sun’s reputation as a mfr., ‘partner’ to HCPs, and as an employer are all absolute SHIT. This will take many years to overcome, if at all.

Dilipi has said ‘F’ you all, ‘we’re going to do it the way it’s done in India’.

Well, we’re seeing how that strategy has been working, now haven’t we ??

Quite objectively, the word on Sun is a strong ‘stay away’. It’s a small world, especially in Derm, and from the DM to CEO level, the feedback is consistent: inept leadership at best, and crooked at the top.
No one wants to get involved unless their house and kids are at risk.

Simply true.
I've been in derm for 8 years, have a good reputation personally, but it makes me nervous when my docs speak the way they do about Sun.

You’re just another example of the low-to-no talent kind of person that works for this stupid company.

You made assumptions that their comments are a reflection on me.
Wrong.
Their comments predate my time with Sun and span accross different functions, not just sales.
It’s this kind of narrow-minded, ‘I’m right’ thinking that I’m seeing all through the organization. It’s the root of the finger-pointing.
I made a bad decision in coming here and I’ll be correcting that mistake in the coming months.
You’re the typical ignorant ass that helps make this place a crappy company.
 




I have a great and well established reputation with Derms in a career that spans >20 years. My Docs are telling me to leave based on these things.
1. It is a crowded market and Ilumya brings everything to the table.
2. HCP admin was the kiss of death.
3. Sun as a name is known for screwing over Docs $$
4. IL-23 light is not something to be associated with.
5. The Hub is the worst in the industry. “Have you guys not learned anything from the past”?
6. If things are this tough right now wait until Docs find out the drug isn’t even as good as Stelara.
7. All eyes are on Abbvie’s new drug. You won’t be able to even book a lunch shortly.
8. There are new classes of drugs coming to compete with the most efficacious.
9. I like you and want to write for you so can you get on with Lily or something?
10. All of these drugs are safe. I have never written a drug for psoriasis because of safety.

I also admittedly made a very poor decision to come here. That being said, I will be fixing that very shortly.
