Looking for some real info about this cardiovascular sales specialists. I have 9 years experience in the pharma industry and my last company let all the sales force go. Trying to find out real info about a few things as the talent recruiter for Novartis said that would all be discussed as another time.
1. What is the salary range?
2. Bonus potential?
Please real answers only

This company is horrible. I would leave the industry if Novartis was the only one left. Joining this place was the worst mistake I have ever made. Luckily, i got out a few weeks ago.

If you don't have a job now, why the hesitation? Put in a couple of years (it's not that bad here) and then go to another company. There's no more loyalty anywhere to us or them.

Base $85k bonus $30 but you'll be lucky to make half of that. Culture is HORRIBLE only apply if you're desperate.

Not actually 30k though, it's paid per trimester, 2k of each trimester gets held until the end of the year. You may or may not get that because it's based on values and behaviors. So if your manager is a prick, you won't see it. Plus I'm sure they'll have some back door nonsense to ensure very little get the full 6k....

Take the job if you need it badly and keep looking. This is not a place to develop a good career, the folks in East Hanover will ensure you don't move up the ladder to compete with the usual shuffling of the deck chairs for leadership opportunities. The environment is rancid, it's top down reach/frequency metric management and guarantee they will layoff the contract side and any over lay within a year...... The drug is a dog and leadership has proven time and time again they can't launch a drug to save their lives..... Read the posts here and you'll understand how crappy the culture is here...... Good luck.

Let me clarify one part of this post for potential new employees. They hold back $6000 a year. This is for values and behaviors. This is a SUBJECTIVE decision by the manager. So basically you earned this bonus and for whatever reason the manager can say I will give you low scores and they keep the $6000. This alone should give you a good idea about this company. This should be reason enough not to come here and if you are here reason enough to leave. I personally think potentially losing 20% of your bonus potential because of a subjective opinion is not a place that has my best interest in mine. If you work to pass the time and dont care about the money maybe this place is right for you.

Hired w/in the last year. Completely mislead about the IC plan by the Novartis HR person who makes the offer. Was told % to goal and uncapped. No mention of forced ranking much less 20% for "values and behaviors" whatever the hell that is. Get as much detailed info as you can before making decision.
