I had a little time on my hands and I'd thought I would check in to see who is still around. Nice to see familiar names still here.
I guess I just got busy. Walked away from healthcare completely. I've gone into business for myself! I work harder now more than ever but I'm enjoying learning the process. We'll see what happens!

Good for you. Never had the mind set and discipline to run my own business. My son and his wife finally took the big step a few years ago and are doing great. If you are good at a trade (electrician, carpentry, etc.) and can learn the bookkeeping, planning, etc. it can really pay off. I tell the kids that can't decide about college, major, etc. to take Jr College courses to learn to manage a business then learn a skill that is likely to survive for many years and combine the two. If not to their liking, they are more mature and may finish the degree and get a job working for others....

Once again maybe it's becoming a fun place to stop by without all the sanctimonious smarminess that predominated.
