60 Minutes Embarrassment

Had lunch with office to discuss Iluyma. That was plan but turned into being shamed and grilled over Sun’s ethics as an organization thanks to 60 Minutes and our leader AG who is still with company!
I followed “script” that was sent to us but HCPs not buying it. HCPs as a whole are frustrated with high costs of drugs, hassle to get patients on them, tired of payers dictating decisions, and then I come in as a Sun rep and to them I represent everything wrong with flipping healthcare.
It is embarrassing knowing my company has been caught red handed but supports those who would be fired or in jail with other companies. These docs want nothing to do with Sun period. They know it’s not “me” but these KOLs who speak for competitors also say there comes a time when they have to do what they feel is right and not be associated with certain companies and they can get same type drugs with other companies. One KOL said for me to get away from Sun as consensus is Sun is dirty. I was mortified.
Please Sun re-evaluate AG and what’s going on and I’d shelve the PIP talk right now. Things need to calm down. Morale is awful and people dread going to face offices. That very small percent that is happy here good for you but you don’t represent the Ilumya salesforce when truth is being told and not what they say to their RSM or brown nose. Save it!

Yes. I’m experiencing the same discussions and given so much press on pharma these days, and without good treatment options besides our products, docs are starting to steer away, because they can. They have their own reputations to think about.

I’m not concerned for my job as many others are bc of my personal situation. But the company really needs to take action and show its employees and customers that we aren’t the company they’re thinking we are.

Or, are we ?

These physicians you speak of are not worth Sun’s time or effort. They focus on the past and should be focused on their patients.

These physicians are the same ones that Sun/RSM/BM/KF, FL (well he left), stressed we need to be in front of on a weekly basis. These are top national KOLs (1 of mine was on the stage in Princeton) that are questioning company. Corporate needs to stop drinking the kool-aid that everyone loves Sun.
Also not everyone on speaker board is a believer but wants to have extra money for their beach house or Range Rover.
If they aren’t worth Sun’s time or effort why is their pushback when asked to decrease calls or told to keep providing lunches with zero ROI and they are sadly taking advantage of us for a free meal. Doc looks at you and says “just to be clear I’m not writing Iluyma” I mean wtf!

This is not India and Sun brand awareness is almost non existent in the US compared to our competitors.

STOP WITH THE ARROGANCE !

These MDs do focus on patient care and the future which is exactly why they’re growing less confident in Sun.

You continue to excuse the wrongs by saying they were in the past so they don’t count.

Does that mean if I stole something yesterday that today it doesn’t matter ?
That’s what you’re saying.

There is a day close at hand where this board will be quiet. Everyone will either have found outside jobs or are resigned themselves to stay positive while they frantically look to get out. The complaining here is simply not productive to keeping your head clear for interviews. I hear of people at Sun looking for promotions and I ask why? Maybe they were dropped on their heads as babies. Any promotion you get here will be worthless outside. Sun isn’t viewed as a legitimate organization in the US. Only known as a generic, price fixing whore.
