Thanks for pointing out the symptoms of a RIF. Don't forget to add; unusual exodus of VP's months prior, and upper management saying everything is ok , but we are a little over peer comparison spending in division XYZ. Sales of low use sites / properties. Talk of flat sales in the near and distant future. Further talk of outsourcing and global expansion, but not in USA. Managers asking you to train someone else how to do your job. Your boss won't look you in the eye prior to notice.
Dept budget cuts and halt on capx spending, and travel.
