Nice of BMS to give us some forewarning, other than suggesting that this competitive advantage was a "rumor." Feels good to be blindsided by a physician of all people, once again, BMS corporate and marketing hanging us out to dry. Guess we should come to expect this lack of accountability and/or planing by now.

Really? You realize you are a sales rep right? Look they physician in the eye and tell him/her to do the math. You can either do $5/month for one year then go to the $30-$50 copay or you can do $10/ month guaranteed for 2 years. It comes out cheaper to stay with Onglyza or Kombiglyze. Not that big of a deal.

Think you missed the point. BMS reps should not hear about their promotion from the doctors. A on the ball marketing team would have given reps a heads up so we look like we have a clue.

Do you actually think that Merck won't extend their card for another year? Really?

Prediction:

New DPP-4 will take all growth away from Onglyza/Kombiglyze XR. The Onglyza family will flatline at best, then begin to decrease. Januvia/ Janumet will begin new increase in share capture. There will be pockets of continued growth of Onglyza family, but the nation will start to die.

Mark Wright will stop being the nice, "funny" guy most think he is and you will see PIPs and Warning letters rise.

His "World Class Launch" never was, and now it will be obvious to all that BMS has no idea what it is doing, starting with the leadership.
