Guaranteed 100% floor for Ozempic because we have a supply problem? No shit!

Why is a goal even given for this product? Nobody will hit it. Ridiculous. They should pay us out at 200% based on company performance. Greedy bastards.

Do the right thing Novo. Bonus your people according to how the company is performing with the product. Instead, we get treated like we suck at what we do.

So when the company is doing bad, you’re comfortable with everyone making nothing, even if you’re performing in your own territory?

You’re whining that the company is literally guaranteeing you won’t make less than your bonus.

Unreal.

They’ve had supply issues since Feb 2022 according to old Vinny boy. Next, when the company has been rather flat, reps were still paid for performance, supply wasn’t an issue and the company produced enough for all to make their respective sales goals. Since mid last year, the company has NOT produced enough for sales people to make their goals, not all of them at least. So Novo leadership likes to brag about doing the right thing.

So then Either produce enough for people to make their goals, lower the goals or pay people out at 100% if they can’t produce enough supply. The company doesn’t owe you anything extra because they had a good year, but they should make you whole when they can’t fufill their end of the bargain.

The company is making money hand over fist. The previous poster is correct. Goals should be lowered based on what we can supply. Instead, goal setting is higher than what we can produce.

and yes, when the company’s lead product does poorly, we usually all pretty much do poorly. But, as we sell out of Ozempic, none of us are maxing out our bonuses. Why is that?

guaranteeing us 100% payout on Ozempic is total shit. Plus, they’re heavying up on Rybelsus in Q4 with goals that will probably be astronomical. So, net/net we’ll probably struggle to make 100% combined again. Meanwhile, profits will be at an all-time high and forecasts will increase.

under normal conditions, a rep can typically offset underperforming on a secondary product by blowing out the goal of the better product. Good luck doing that this quarter.

Hahahaha - so it gets even better. Not only are you complaining about the company guaranteeing you won’t do worse than 100% with Ozempic, you’re now also whining that they’re increasing the weighting on the drug that is in plentiful supply? And the reason you “can’t hit” that goal is because “the goal is too high.” Hilarious.

PS: you do realize that the reason that Ozempic even has a supply issue (after being on the market for 5 years) is because 30% of it is written off label, right? You have very little to do with Ozempic volume and the drug that does require sales skills, you’re upset about being goaled on.

don’t worry unemployment line is imminent re org is in the works

I think they did do the right thing for q4 but many areas had serious supply issues in q3. we went to our rdb about this, showed them the losses, it is what it is. unless you live in an area with ddd volume coming in this is not your year to be on a leaderboard or in the coe running.

Just heard Pfizer is planning a big layoff. They are taking a multi billion dollar hit on Covid products. It’s a shame, but a lot of companies follow Pfizer’s lead.
