4 Great Guys

A credit to Taylor, Doug, Nick and Jeremy. It's been 6 month since they left and a day doesn't go by without someone at Shire talking about them. Funny how no one talks about Cola or any of the GI folks that are gone. Yasick and Bonnell are a waste of time. We have a lack of leadership at Shire. Those 4 guys are missed!

Realizing that these guys each got amazing offers to jump ship, do you think there was anything Shire could have done to keep them? Obviously with the impending "doom" ahead of us, probably not. But, speaking hypothetically, if the same opportunity to leave was available a few years ago would they have done it? And, would/could Shire have done anything at all to keep them in house?

Do you know what these guys are doing right now? They are laughing their asses off at what Shire has become. Well, maybe they are shaking their heads in disappointment.

Leadership starts at the top, no matter what company/organization. We have people like Clarissa who thinks she is so smart that she will not take any input from anyone, and people like Yasik, who doesn't have any idea what market flucuations are like in different markets.

Need proof? Look at our quotas, look how they handled the "re-org" look and our damn stock! It's not even at 90! It's dropped 20% in a year when Shire has been posting record profits!

Wall street can even see it! ADHD has NO pipeline! I guess I could bitch here all day and nothing will change, but it's just sad what has happened to this company in the last 2 years.

Well said!!! The upper managent should start reading this board. It's the only place where the truth is told!! It's sad to see what has happened in a very short time. They say change is good and necessary, however they also say if its not broke don't fix it!! As recent as March in Atlanta, they all stand up there and tell us how good of a year Shire is having and the pipeline is strong! We post strong earnings every quarter yet somehow the stock price keeps sinking, and the "reorganization" is needed to stay ahead of the curve! Wake up leadership!!! We were ahead of the curve, so why do you have to start making changes! I know some changes are needed and good for the company. However, just one question, look at all the changes you have made, look in the mirror and ask "How's it workin for ya"? The answer is it's not! Employee moral is at an all time low, no one has any motivation seeing as how we may not have a job. By the way, i have never been part of a company where they claim to have 100% transparency, yet the communication from you is a joke!! WAKE UP LEADERSHIP!!!

I doubt they are laughing. I know all 4 and they are great people. They helped build this company and still care about many of us. I suspect they are disappointed in the current situation.

and i suspect they are sitting in their offices surfing the web and answering an occassional email while they have no rds or reps or product to sell. where is it? where are all the offers to those ready to jump ship. have you checked their balance sheet lately?

Why the animosity? Does it make you feel good to minimize other people's ventures? Is it genuine disdain for them? Ill will? Or just hoping they will fail out of spite and jealousy. Even if you think it is a bad move why would you not just wish them luck. Starting a sales force is not an easy task. There will be multiple hurdles and roadblocks, that's what makes it so rewarding. Watch and see, I would be shocked if that group doesn't pull it off. Btw, stock is currently trading at more than 2x the IPO. Someone thinks it is a good move!

Those guys must have been crazy going to supernus. They have to deal with layoffs, loss of a billion dollar product, loss of a 500 million dollar product, failed trial in their GI division and the major bread winner for the company under generic threat from 5 manufacturers. Oh wait that's us.

You are an idiot. If Supernus succeeds, those 4 will be wealthy.

Awesome post!

The people who knock Supernus would be the first ones to leave if they were offered a position.
Supernus is looking pretty good right now!

All 4 gave allot to Shire. You are an idiot for knocking any of them.

I really believe it is jealous zombie Shire RDs who are on cafepharma talking shit about these four. Most reps know they were good people. Ironic when their reps post the truth about them on here it's dismissed as disgruntled former reps when in fact we are very much still here dealing with their daily bs...
