35% Of AZ's CSA's Were Fired on Monday!

They were not fired but laid off.There is a big difference so I suggest you get the story right. CSA's are on a contract which means that a lay off is always possible at the end of the contract period. AZ just like other pharma will be doing additional layoffs in sales force in next few months.

Hey asshole, just FYI, there is precisely zero difference between fired and laid off to the person on the receiving end. Laid off is what we call a euphemism, so I suggest you pull your head out of your ass and join the plain-speaking real world. Instead of focusing on semantics, and explaining the obvious in robotic clinical terms, and prognosticating about things you know nothing about, just shut up, or offer some insight, or express a modicum of compassion you mindless corporate drone. Thanks.

AZ has not dropped a single hint that they are going to have a layoff. What makes you think they will?

For me, there was a difference. Fired means you messed up. Laid off means the company is full of crap.

Either way, its all a big scam. Working for others. Punching the clock. Letting them treat you like crap.

If I had to do it again, I would NEVER enter the corporate world. Better to never punch a clock in your life.

In fact, I think smart people should DISCOURAGE their kids from college, so that they incur no debt, and find a trade to do for life.

CSA = Customer Service Associate

Since the day the CSAs were laid off they have received ZERO communication about why or what the contract is going to look like for those who are staying on. Simply "downsizing." Budget cuts is one thing but blindly laying off CSAs along with DMs without taking into consideration performace is ridiculous. Territory has doubled even tripled for some CSAs who are now working for DMs who are covering multiple districts. Very discouraging.

I've heard good things about Publicis, like they try to get you rehired for other contracts but if their communication and lack of management is ALWAYS like this, I will never work for them again.

Believe me when I tell you that AZ is calling the shots!Publicis is being told when,how,etc.,things will be done and announced,and we all know how AZ does things!

We will get new territories in Jan. Obviously they will be much larger. Do you think they are going to address new contract etc. when 35% of us will be gone ? That would be insensitive. What makes you think performance was not taken into consideration? It certainly looked like it was in my district. Some "losers" were let go, both tenured and newer hires. Unfortunately, some good new hires were also cut. Just be happy you have a job. Good luck to everyone.

Publicis and AZ are both nightmares! AZ is in deep trouble with their profits dropping each quarter for months now. Publicis has no new contracts for awhile now and they seem to be in trouble.
