They were not fired but laid off.There is a big difference so I suggest you get the story right. CSA's are on a contract which means that a lay off is always possible at the end of the contract period. AZ just like other pharma will be doing additional layoffs in sales force in next few months.

AZ has not dropped a single hint that they are going to have a layoff. What makes you think they will?
Hey asshole, just FYI, there is precisely zero difference between fired and laid off to the person on the receiving end. Laid off is what we call a euphemism, so I suggest you pull your head out of your ass and join the plain-speaking real world. Instead of focusing on semantics, and explaining the obvious in robotic clinical terms, and prognosticating about things you know nothing about, just shut up, or offer some insight, or express a modicum of compassion you mindless corporate drone. Thanks.

How can AZ avoid a layoff? Christ, their profits have dropped 50% in the most recent quarter.
CSA = Customer Service Associate
Since the day the CSAs were laid off they have received ZERO communication about why or what the contract is going to look like for those who are staying on. Simply "downsizing." Budget cuts is one thing but blindly laying off CSAs along with DMs without taking into consideration performace is ridiculous. Territory has doubled even tripled for some CSAs who are now working for DMs who are covering multiple districts. Very discouraging.
I've heard good things about Publicis, like they try to get you rehired for other contracts but if their communication and lack of management is ALWAYS like this, I will never work for them again.
