Merck doesn’t need to compensate well because they’re riding KEYTRUDA into the ground and don’t need the best of the best to do it. Some employee know they’re worthless and just happy to make it another day under the radar collecting a donation from Merck. Couldn’t leave because they’d get eaten alive elsewhere. At the same time Merck happy to keep many on payroll for “diversity” no matter how mentally challenged. As long as someone’s around to turn the lights on and keep pd1 cash flowing all is good.
