This person doesnt know

3 per territory is still too many with Diovan just about done and Exforge right behind it.
Exelon patch will never make much and Reclast has 1 year if that left.

Think about it. Also, they will use 2011 ratings. My thoughts are layoff will be announced in Feb after all reviews are done.

We have 3 now. It IS too many. I bet we go to 2 maybe even 1. With no CV (generic Diovan so goes Exforge) really what's left? Think about it people. If we do go to two there WILL be another round. I'd rather them just get it over with.

One of them will be gone, but whoever is left, if it's Drama Queen, well, she's a complete imbecile who has no self esteem, is crazier than a loon and high from all the chocolate she eats all day. Just buzzes around in a jerky sort of way.
If it's Mr. Clean, well, he just thinks he's the cats meow - bald head and all - maybe he can hook up with Utt more often. But watch your back! He comes across real smooth, tattle-tells on reps he doesn't like, and just basically likes to make your life a living hell.
Either way, their days are numbered and KARMA is such a great thing!

If this is the case, why the heck are they sending all aliskiren reps to Denver in 2 weeks for training for Exelon Patch? Why would they spend all that money to just announce layoffs 1 week later. They are going to wait till March to announce layoffs.

The fact that they are doing this at all is just a waste of money. I mean how effective are these people going ot be? No one is truely engaged, especially with the idea they could be let go. Dumb idea novartis

Reps submitted their Year-End prior to the 12-2-10 layoff announcement (1400). Those that were cut were obviously not reviewed as the 08/09 year ends were used to determinine cuts.

Those that remained were reviewed either by their managers or by a new manager that had the benefit of the rep submitted year end as well as input from the former manager if he or she was cut. (While we were on payroll until 2-7-11, Novartis required our services thru December, 2010 for housekeeping, expense reports, turning in the company car, and I assume, in the case of managers, aiding in reviews of those still with the company.

If reps have submitted reviews and if this time around they want to rely upon 2010 year ends only, plus other subjective/objective data (mid-years) they could very well announce layoffs soon. Ask yourself why would they want to do over 1000 reviews for people they already know are going bye-bye.
