5 years in pharma and 4 president club awards later my 2.85 gpa won't let me make the cut?? Shouldn't you people hire based on performance?? Sorry I socialized a little too much in college... Something I do EVERYDAY in the field. Go hire the nerd who has the cookie cutter resume and no social skills. I'm out!

Here's to the college gpa coming back to haunt you. Too many candidates, good way to narrow down the pool. You've got great numbers, you'll be alright with other derm companies.

Galderma has always been known to only accept over a 3.0 GPA.Every company is now asking for your GPA their applications. If there is enough room on the online application I put down my GPA Major which was over 3.0. Also, I was involved in college sports for four years which takes a lot out of you and makes it harder to keep your grades up. You have to carry 12 credits a quarter to qualify and compete in a sport. I remember non athletic students dropping classes if they were getting a bad grade while I had to keep the bad grade to continue competing in my sport.

3.0 is what Galderma looks for but I have heard people with a 2.8 get hired especially those with a good sales track record. if you didn't submit your resume because of the 3.0 requirement, I would submit it anyway.

The company is desperate for new reps. If you take low enough salary, they will take you regardless of what GPA. Just negotiate a low salary and bonus and a 2.6 will cut it.
