Boy has this board gone crazy. But that is another story. Management must be posting.

RD just mentioned on Friday that 2nd quarter sales are way down and expected to be worse than first quarter. I hope not to bad. Are others hearing the same.

For what it's worth, this is fairly consistent given what I've personally seen. I'm a research analyst for a hedge fund that (formerly, thankfully) held this stock, and our portfolio manager completely pulled out of the stock after analyzing preliminary prescription trends for Q2.

The company continues to face insurmountable challenges and it appears that their efforts to turn things around have come far too late. Good luck to all - I sincerely hope that anyone with a significant amount invested in this stock has done their research and is prepared for what's to come.

Honest opinion- what do you foresee coming? Thanks

You can never predict with 100 % accuracy but the main reason why this stock is a bad investment is decreasing sales number quarter over quarter. A trend that will continue through the end of the year. Which means lack of cash on hand for the company and heavy debt on the books will result in them running out of cash. It is why they tried the past few months unsuccessfully to sell or merge the company with a strategic partner. But the products (aka drugs) they have simply are not selling and potential buyers understand this.

So what is next probably is toxic financing that will drop the share price even more. If company then cannot turn itself around, then we all know next outcome. FYI that many smaller (less than 5% hedge funds and mutual funds have been exiting their position the past 30 days in anticipation of the releasing of their Q2 numbers. Would not shock anyone that the major investors are not doing the same as we speak. This would explain the heavy volume of shares trading the past few weeks.

Again, nothing can ever be predicted and the above is just a professional opinion which could be right or could be wrong.

Good Luck to all

thank you for your honest feedback. It seems like Pernix the past two weeks has traded very heavy volume (complete float turned over). Yet stock price did not increase which is unheard of for such heavy volume trading. So means large players & institutions/hedge funds are indeed slowly dumping their shares. With retail investors buying them up by not knowing better.
