2nd Anniversary of the Launch of Sublocade

Hard to believe we launched SubloDUD in Vegas two years ago already.

Are we really expecting this drug to suddenly gain market traction? It is common knowledge that if a drug does not show signs of financial success after six months in our industry it usually becomes a DUD.

Why are people still believing that this drug will suddenly become successful? Wall Street certainly isn't believing it is going to happen.

Many of us feel this is just smoke and mirrors.
The career equivalent of walking through a carnival fun house!

common knowledge is that first six months Suboxone sold $10m. Dud.

I believe if we had just kept promoting Suboxone an eased into Sublocade we would have kept our patients. Remember when generics launched and we saw no dip in market share. That is because patients clearly preferred Suboxoxe and put pressure on their doctors to provide it. We made a huge mistake when we pushed all the chips in with Sublocade and asked our offices to forget about Suboxone. I believe if today we were promoting Suboxone we would have more sales and more loyalty from our physicians.

pain was doing that way before suboxone. they have to take cash bc no insurance would cover it. that is such a stupid statement when you say that. think about the time and be realistic. insurance would not cover it...too much red tape. people have to pay cash for methadone. even psychiatrist take cash bc it is so hard to get mental health covered.

Totally agree! I just resigned after 3+ years. One of my stories: When we went six months without patient literature post launch one of my Docs yelled at me saying " Indivior wasn't paying him to be one their De Facto Sales Reps!" He gave up trying to get product and went generic Suboxone. Glad I am not part of this anymore.

Hey Shaun, come out in the field with a regular Sr CS and not one of the cherry picked favorites, and see what your fuktards aren't telling you. Doctors are giving up because getting the drug is too much work. Or lose your company. Your choice.

It was a hell of a time. Staying right on the strip at the Cosmopolitan, partying every night, and the naive belief that Sublocade would do well. It’s sad how things have changed in 2 short years. Glad I moved on.
