260 deaths. Over 800000 pts worldwide. This equals roughly .025% or around a quarter of a %. Like article said, similar to what was observed in RE-LY. I know you're used to selling Micardis, or Spiriva but this is an Anticoagulant. People will die on Pradaxa (the risk of which is in the label, and people will die from taking warfarin. People will die on Xarelto and Apixiban too. Welcome to the challenges of treating Afib and trying to prevent Stroke.
