24 hr wk- which contract would this be?

Hoping to narrow down which contract. It's parttime and says 24hrs. Are there any other contracts currently that would fit this besides merck? Did this really just get 2 year renewal? Some postings have been popping up. are people getting fired or leaving?

It is Merck. It is a great contract if you are not looking or need full time.
My managere says the contract is good through 2013 but claims we are on the Merck 5-year plan as a stand alone unit under their primary care structure.
As for people leaving. Of course people leave. Most l know leave because they want full time work.
Me, I will ride this till the end. I love flex time. If you are looking for part time work with unbeleivable flexibility you cant find better than this position.

Yes this is a great gig especially if you eventually want to leave pharma and get into medical devices. Most are 1099 so you can work that while working this....or even another part time no stress job along with this one. I know quite a few reps that are doing this. Most leave because financial changes or needing health benefits. It truly is a no stress situation unless you have a DSM that thinks they are still in big pharma and forgets we are flex with family commitments, the whole reason we wanted this job was for the flexibility.

Recruiter said they are interviewing face-to-face by DM next week with hiring by mid-January. Homestudy in Feb for 2 weeks then Merck office for 1 week training. Field by March.
