Again, please include source when you post information like this. You type it like it is a fact, but without some sort of source to back it up...this is most frustrating aspect of Cafepharma, people posting water cooler talk and opinions like they are fact...

The Aug 5th deadline is for EC regulatory approval (25 business days from file date of July 1st). The companies could merge their US operations without EC approval. Valeant announced that they anticipated to close the deal within 60 days, which will be on Friday, July 26th.
