In case anyone missed it.

Performance Review scores of "meets expectations" are 1% this year

Probably increase in benefit premiums 5-6%

You will have about 5% less take home pay for the next year.

Isn't working at Labcorp rewarding and a joy !!

Quit your bellyaching and leave.

You carry on as if this employee chiseling is something new.

Labcorp is a great place to work if you are a hopeless follower and are painfully lazy.

You have to be management. Jobs are not exactly falling off trees right now. And if you were aquired and are acustomed to being treated with respect, ths is a huge culture shock. And as far as being lazy, like I said, you have to be management. Everyone else works their tail off and for what? The priviledge of having a job? I have news for you, a job is supposed to be a fair exchange of labor for work.

This practice of overpayaing upper managers while employees who do the actual work can "eat cake" is coming to an end. Stockholders are finally waking up.

A 1% raise is really just a slap in the face. Wow........it just keeps getting worse at Labcrap. But in keeping with the way upper management treats the peons, I mean workers, we should be lucky that we have jobs right? The new motto should be "Come work for Labcorp, Where you will live to work and Work to live (frugally)".

Unfortunately, but 'tis indeed true. There's plenty of money to go around, for everyone, in this company but you won't find the word "sharing" in the corporate lexicon. I find it interesting, and pathetic, that hard-working employees are shown the door, in an effort to save money, while copious numbers of do-nothing middle/upper managers remain firmly entrenched in the ever growing management labyrinth. Good people get the boot, and pricks like the midget man in Distribution in SC, keep their jobs despite their constant harassment and haranguing of employees. If yelling, screaming and slamming your fist on your desk is your management style, then maybe, just maybe you shouldn't be in charge of anyone, or anything more significant than a baseball card collection. How about all of those "managers" who don't manage anything? They can barely manage to find their way to the office everyday, much less make cogent, common-sense decisions about important issues/problems. Yet, corporate insists on allowing this collective group of twits, to continue along, unscathed; wreaking havoc and mayhem; formulating worthless, idiotic policies and procedures; and then doing their best Attilla the Hun impersonation to enforce said policies and procedures. Corporate America ... gotta' love it! Wonder if this threat of a hostile takeover by a venture capital firm will pan out? If you listen closely, you can hear the bugler blowing "Taps..."

Correction: Not to be a tight ass but I hate typo's. If you were acquired and are accustomed to being treated with respect, this can be a huge culture shock. We work our tails off for the privilege of just having a job? I have news for you. A job is supposed to be a FAIR exchange of labor for PAY. What happened to the opportunity to grow with the company?

This practice of overpaying upper managers while employees who do the actual work can
"eat cake" is coming to an end as stockholders wake up. And to all of you so called conservative republicans. You will get the personal experience to partake of what happens when a public company is taken private by private equity. Here comes Bain.

Look around at the economy...if you think it's any different anywhere else you are wrong. I am no longer with LCA and work for a great company...and yet I was only given a collective 1 percent to distribute among my staff during annual reviews as well!!!

You should be thankful you have a job!

My better half works for another company in the Healthcare industry and it was the same story for them. Low raises, predicted insurance premium increase, and closing one or two locations. I know several other people outside of this industry who are in the same situation.

TM being reviewed by RP at Integrated Oncology?

I cannot believe they have not fired RP yet. He is a waste of a salary and other people are losing thier jobs in the cuts and he just sits there and continues to laugh at upper management. He is not someone LCA should keep around. He must have something on Murray for him to still be around this long.

People who focus on something as simple as typo's are usually insecure and in order to feel superior they try to make someone else fill inferior.

"Fill," I get it... good one! Not! In keeping, with the spirit of the thread... the recent "pay raises," and I use the term facetiously, are representative of all things LCA. Pathetic! Crappy, do-nothing management; zero leadership; worthless, time-consuming policies that accomplish nothing; continued alienation of employees through pathetic management practices; morale in the crapper... let's see... pathetic + crappy + do-nothing + zero + worthless + pathetic X 2 = no pay raises. Let's see now, how many years have we been going in the hole on diminutive raises + increased healthcare costs? In the words of that most ignoble lawman, Buford T. Justice, " Sumbitch!"

LCA is notorius for under skilled low paying under educated managers an directors . When they want to get their buddy a job they post it as degree preferable .Most skilled people would never work at this company I stayed 6 months when it was such a backward company run out fo NC . The only reason some of the qualified college educated ( very few) have stayed is due to the economy . The pay scale for Management was 20 % less than most jobs equivelent to where I work an live . Again its a backward NC corporate company that discourages ideas of qualified employees or education .Lets face it ask the VP people there where they went to school . Its definately not Harvard or Ivy League schools .Its low level schools that there is no competition at . I dare you to inquire.
