Im just trying to confirm the payout. Is it this June30?? I am concerned if I resign before that date, they will not pay me for Q1. I was told that those laid off they get theirs but not sure if you quit!

From what it says in the IC plan document, you will get paid for Q1 if you were employed on the last day of the quarter. So, that should mean that since you were still working on March 31, you will be paid. That said, it should also mean that if you stay until June 30, you will get a check in Semptember for Q2. I'm not sure if that's how it is "actually" working but, that is what is in writing in the IC plan and I would fight to hold them to it.

Also, I worked a contract for Publicis before and received a bonus check on the pay out date a couple of months later for the last quarter that I worked. My last day was officially just a couple of days after the bonus period ended.

Again, this is how it SHOULD work. If you are worried, you can call HR without giving your name and ask them.

I asked my manager he told me that you have to be EMPLOYED on the PAYOUT date in order to get paid. Although She's kind of clueless so Id call HR!

Never quit a job at the very end of a qtr. you will not get paid..or they will prorate you...

With wisdom like this, we would have been OK in pharma sales.

We need more "sharps" like you to take over in management.

I would also add "don't quit a job unless you already have one" and "never go to HR", and "never enter pharm sales as a first career choice", and...

"don't cross the road without looking both ways"

This is INACCURATE, and I know this firsthand. As long as you are employed on the last day of the quarter, you are eligible to receive bonus. So, if you were employed March 31st, you will get Q1 payout. If you are going to quit, make sure you don't turn in your notice until July 1, then you will be eligible for the full 2nd Q bonus as well.

That's exactly what I was thinking and how it is worded in the IC plan document. Make sure you save a copy of that document from the Incentive comp website or Lion's Den before you leave in case you have to need to use it if they don't send your bonus check in September for Q2.

Have you left Publicis and been through this scenario? If so, did you get your last bonus as a check on the date that everyone else who was still employed received their bonus? Just curious how it works. Thanks!

Yes, and yes. They sent me a live check when everyone else received theirs. I had no problems receiving my money at all.
