Pfizer's 2010 payments included:

—$34.4 million in speaking fees to about 4,600 professionals to discuss Pfizer products and health topics at events with other professionals.

—$18 million worth of meals, much of which were provided to doctors in their offices by Pfizer sales representatives.

If you really gave a shit, you'd go after the HMOs for forcing patients to use drugs off label just to save a buck.

That is a billion times more evil than our greasing the wheels to get new drugs prescribed on label and be held accountable if the drugs harm anyone.

If you really gave a shit, you'd go after the Pfizer for forcing patients to use drugs off label just to earn a buck. Oh, that's right Pfizer already paid $2.3 billion.

That was already done, dimwit. I'm talking about the bullshit going on as we speak. HMOs are intentionally and recklessly forcing patients and doctors to take and prescribe, respectively off label drugs for disease states not approved by the FDA as safe and effective.

If that doesn't piss you off, then nothing will, besides Obama losing in 2012.

Pfizer is driving up health costs. Year over year triple the inflation rate price increases and outrageous retail prices. You need HMOs to restrain costs and keep Pfizer from ripping off the system by the tune of $68 billion per year + 25% increase.
