If your new job starts tomorrow and you can't give two weeks notice, I can say that it will not effect your eligibility for rehire at inVentiv. You have to really try to get marked ineligible for rehire, and if they do mark you as ineligible, HR sends you a letter telling you that you are ineligible and why. Giving two weeks notice may still work in your favor though, because many contracts will say "thanks for the two weeks notice, but we're pulling you out of the field effective immediately", in which case, you still get paid for the two weeks for your courtesy (plus any remaining vacation time), but do not have to work. NOW, the kicker to that is, that if on June 14th you say 'I'm giving notice until July 1st", they may tell you that you no longer need to work, but they will only give you up to two weeks - so really until the 27th. So in that situation, if you do want to finish out the quarter, I wouldn't give notice until July 19th.
