1 Do I have a job in the new organization?

2 If I do have a job, do I have to take a significant pay cut?

Come on Grifols!! You had a year to think about this!!! Stop keeping us in suspense. Most of us would like to move on with the rest of our lives.

With all this time you must have a plan.

I want them to take their sweet time, job market in RTP is not to good right now. Better to be looking for a job from your office with a fat paycheck each week than at home. If you find something good great, if not focus on positive things like reconnecting with your family, knocking a few strokes off your golf game or planning your next vacation. Great situation unless you desire career fullfillment or you have NOT been stock piling cash the last couple years. If that was the case you should of left long ago.

My group has not received any information or clues yet. I understand some groups have been given some information about their situation. I am not sure silence is a good thing or a bad???? This situation is not fun but what else can you do in this economy but sit around and take it.

What groups have been told something and what have they been told? I only know the Pulmonary group was told they are safe...

Another month has passed and I have no more answers then I did 30 days ago. I keep thinking either I will get a new assignment or a pay decrease but so far nothing. Most of my old responsibilities are not needed anymore so I am leaving the office everyday at 5pm (which is half the parking lot) and taking long lunches. I use to feel guilty but everyone else is doing the same. I think I am going to start working on my MBA at UNC during the day to see if anyone notices! My coworkers are frustrated with this situation I say take advantage of the free time!!!

Still Alive! Only lost a few leaders that no company could afford. Most of my responsibilities have been reorganized under Grifol's people. I think they want me to quit but forget that!! Every company I interviewed for so far looked shocked when I told them how much I was making. I even told them I would take a 5%-10% cut, still no luck. Since there was no clear plan and no one seems to be paying attention I figure I still have a few months. Job market in RTP is horrible.

Its horrible for those who suck - good people can find work (i.e. Lisa Y). But hey there is hope - look at Alan Dipshit - laid off from Pfizer, out of work for months - picked up as a contract rep - sold nothing and now is puppethead for Immunology - Happy Ever After..............(how do you spell gamunex?)

This would be a comedy if it was not so sad. 80 percent of the people still alive here at RTP are misrable. They are just waiting for something to happen like a puppet on a string. Grifols Leadership gives very little direction on what we should be working on so most spend their day surfing for new jobs or making up work. Since they are SO GOOD at communicating we don't even know if we are safe so everyone assumes the worst which really cuts down on what little morale is left. This could be a brilliant strategy to get people to leave (avoid severance) but without clear communication from our leaders and being paid really well we are content to just hang out and be misrable.... I keep thinking that things have to change, but maybe it won't!!!!
