2 Cultures at Sage

Culture 1= The corporate office seems to be a really happy place to work where they are always emailing us the cool raffles and fun things they do there. “We are Sage”

Culture 2= The miserable sales force where they demand things out of us that no organization has ever demanded! They want to do field rides and expect miracles when this has never been done in the history of pharma. A 60 hour infusion where hospitals can only bill for 48. My manager “Tell them moms deserve this and tell them they might have to lose money on this.” What the f —-! Prior to a launch and drug development who doesn’t have these details ironed out? They hired a bunch of us that were past managers and super successful biotech and we have to save their sorry asses for this mess of a situation...so this worries me that if they screwed the pooch here then 217 won’t be any better...anyone else worried

This new text chain Deena started i opted out of. Bigggest big pharma thing I’ve ever seen. What’s the next thing she going to do? Maybe, leave voice mails at the end of each day of a successsul call we had? Sounds like Charles Charles to me...what a witch...take a pulse of your sales team DW? Your loss in California is just the beginning

Well Said and very accurate. Yes, we are all very worried. That's why everyone is looking and interviewing for new jobs. The writing is on the wall.

People are waiting for 217 to be a miracle but it’s going to have issues. REMS, makes people fall asleep, just wait until Sage has to run driving studies with a sedative. The retreatment studies next year won’t show a separation vs placebo and that will put approval into doubt.

Not to mention competing against J&J (Spravato), which has eons of managed care experience and negotiation ability. However, I seem to be an outlier in willingness to stick it out here at Sage. For me, after years in the industry, I just see that the grass here is pretty much the same as the grass anywhere else. A form of pharmaceutical employee nihilism, I suppose?
