It’s not the only whistleblower action in play against BIO at the present time. There are several. Wonder if these payouts are deducted from Ryan’s CM3 remittances to Berlin. Max can’t be pleased that the American douchebags are misbehaving again.

No argument there but regulators will always go after the deepest pockets first. Plus going after physicians is a tarpit. No matter how corrupt, they are still some patients’ hero and doctors are mighty good at playing the martyrdom card when it suits their aims.
 






Attention in house folks: kiss your 2022 bonuses bye bye! That legal payout pretty much torpedoes any chance of achieving a bonus worthy CM3 result this year, particularly given the significant revenue underperformance YTD. Used to be that end of quarter bulking would fill in the potholes but even that hasn’t happened so much this year. We keep falling further behind each month. After taxes you might clear enough for a trip to Applebees.

If you’ve been on the fence about leaving BIO, now might be the time to get serious before employers start curtaining hiring ahead of a recession and your trapped in the BIO death spiral for who knows how long.
 






I seem to recall seeing a presentation a few months back that indicated that MIDWEST or perhaps it was the CINEMEA region (not sure which) had surpassed the U.S. in CM3. Am I remembering that correctly? Is that true?

That’s accurate. BINC is no longer leading in profitability. SG&A expenses as a percentage of revenue for the U.S. market are nearly double that of the next closest region and growing. That would be fine if top line revenue was also expanding to match. Unfortunately, BINCs top line revenue has remained stagnant since Marlo’s was in charge.

The creepy fact is the two “whistleblowers” were the ones who were actually committing the offenses. The company fires them and the reps claim they were drugged and and were hypnotized by BTK to incentivize the physicians against their will. These two “whistleblowers” are a couple of dirt bags.

Biotronik made most people I know behave in criminal fashion. Are they all dirtbags or is it the culture?!

Very well known within the company and industry too that it’s the culture. The whistleblowers are heroes in my book. Nice to see folks with strong morals and a backbone for a change rather than losers who post on LinkedIn all the time about leadership crap. Not fooling anyone.

Who you kidding? BIO outsourced its execs LinikedIn feeds to the KGB propaganda machine years ago. Most of the current crop of marginal talent seat warmers are clearly not worldly, knowledgeable or articulate enough to be responsible for the words posted under their names. Beginning to think the “smiling doctor new BIO user” photos might be some crafty image editing too.
