12/20 can be a $50,000 dollar day

The mighty PFE used to pay, bonus & compensate in the top 1/3....now all in the bottom 1/3! Can't find another Rep from any pharma outfit (with the exception of contract) that gets smaller bonus $$. If you started in last 10 years....base pay will be no problem to replicate! Biggest problem with PFE people is that you are Pfizerized....brainwashed to believe there's no better place & so used to being "downgraded" by PFE management you have zero self-confidence. Unless of course you are in the ass-kisser class & you willingly gulp kool-aid, back-stab & email success stories that never happened, etc. as a means of achieving continued employment lol! You know who you are!!
The current Euro-trash upper management, led by "Razor" Reed, have nothing but disdain for you and the lemmings who report up from middle/upper levels of Sales management are so gutless & clueless that you are all lambs awaiting the (next) slaughter! But I'm sure like every reduction in the PFE workforce....you probably still haven't "updated your resume" yet! How many times did you burn yourself on the stove before you realized that it might be hot!!!
Their are two kinds of people....the quick & the dead! Come 12/20 you'll find out which one you are eh!

King rep here that stayed on with Pfizer, now waiting for lay off this thursday.
Did you leave Pfizer or were you laid off? Did you get the King severance package? Target bonus? I know King has an agreement in place till March 1, 2013.
Thanks for any info.

Got let go & was interviewing before D-Day! Accepted offer with another Pharma company before 60 Day Warn ended. Kept looking, posting & interviewing and within 6 months had a Device gig. Work harder now but making quite a bit more $$, plus quality of life way up because not looking over my shoulder constantly.
Gotta be out there ASAP...so you're competing with less (PFE & others) applicants! Most at Pfizer are numb and believe that if they make through "this cut" they'll finally get some stability! History shows that is not the case. If you're in Primary Care, you gotta know that there will be other cuts coming...probably soon! Think Celebrex LOE! Without new meds (Pain stuff from King), Primary Care really consists of two viable drugs, Lyrica & Eliquis (if & when approved)...both of which are essentially Specialty meds (Cardiology & Neurology).
Know a ton of other PFE cast-offs and virtually everyone is happier &/or better off!
Best of luck, may you get what you want! There is no downside to seeing what your value is on the "open market"...the sooner the better!

King severance was fantastic. Unfortunately you chose to stay and there are no sales jobs out there except contract. Biotech will not take you from PFE.

THIS is spot on! The ones that were brought over from PFE when King was bought were smart if they kept looking and got out. They KNEW layoffs were coming again. Those of you who stayed in primary care will never get into speciality or biotech or device anymore. This is difference between those who stay for comfort in a big company or those that take a chance. I hope you have been looking for awhile. I hear some say...oh I hope I get let go. Guess what?? No you don't. You probably have NOT been networking right? To reach out b/c you need a job shows disloyalty and no one will help you.
